You are right that some motorist do not treat cyclist well, with harrassment (honking, yelling) resulting. But I think all cyclists VC, sidewalk or BL only all experience this poor treatment at some point.
As you know I drive the speed limit always and in doing so have been honked at on occasion by a tailgaiting vehicle.

You and I share this driving technique... I have yet to be honked at, but do find it amusing that motorists seem to have no probem passing me when I drive, in spite of the fact that I am at least twice as large as when I bike... yet in the latter situation, they seem to have all kinds of problems passing me.
