All to often the place I'd feel most comfortable to ride is where the BL stripe happens to be. Further left and I am unneccesarily in traffic lane preventing cars from passing nad further right I am too close to gutter for comfort and reducing right hooks. Its not just the slickness (not often a problem here, 135 days since the last time it rained!) but riding on the stripe is arguably illegal. (patc made me aware of this)
