If it was a year ago, i would agree, but i spent the past 2 years just "ridding" mainly just for excersize and for the sheer speed trip and natrual high. But by the end of last year before my accident i was growing more and more competetive with my fellow riders, and i knew that my lack of any organized trainning was limiting my abilities. Additionaly i would often find myself overtrainned because... well i had no clue what i was doing. Now i'm not saying the powertap solve's all my problems, but i plan to use it as a tool to help set up a good and hopefully smart trainning program to help guide me thru this season.

Not saying there's anything wrong with just ridding, maybe i'll not enjoy competing in all 7 races this year and i'll just join a social touring club, maybe i'll go to nationals in a year or two, who knows. Like Lowcell said, do whatever works for you.

@merlin: i'll check peaks out, do you have any idea if it'll let me import data from my powertap?

I can't wait to do my "time trials" on my rollers to establish my critical power zones, then i guess i just need to figure out my lactate threshold... fun times

Thanks for the compliments on the bike i really like it alot
