The crank bolt holes on the TA 144 BCD X 41T ring I have have are so close to the rings teath that the chain actually contacts the ends of the crank arm spiders. I found the TA 41 ring at Odyssey Bicycles in Sausalito some years ago when Tony Tom let me rummage through some of his parts drawers at the shop.... He was surprised himself when I pulled out the chainring from his stash....
