Need this to get out of a jam. Offered to fix a neighbor's bike, and it's been one disaster after the other: First, the freewheel didn't arrive for a month. Ordered different freewheel. Installed freewheel. Threads stripped on the cheap steel hub when bike was tested. Returned freewheel, ordered 7-speed cassette. I re-laced the wheel with a replacement cassette hub. Realized after the fact that it was fitted with the slightly wider 8-10 speed freehub, not the 7-speed type.

And that doesn't account for the tons of other issues encountered with this pile of crap bike...

Will know the inner spline connector design by tonight.

If it will help, I mistakenly purchased this hub thinking it was 130mm, but it's 135. "Vintage Shimano Acera X FH-M290 Rear Hub 36 Holes 36H Bicycle Bike". I only paid $16 shipped, so I'm happy to offer it up for the cost of shipping.
