Hi all,
A friend rolled by asking for help adjusting his Sora (mechanical) disc brakes. And to my embarrassment, I couldn’t get them decent.
The pads looked to have an OK amount of friction material left, but it was still as if they sank too deep into the caliper.
If I set the caliper to where the caliper body just cleared the rotor, it would take nearly the full travel of the brake before the pads contacted the rotor.

Are there different models pads that thicker/thinner?
