Quickdry travel and hiking pants come to mind.
The smooth polyester or nylon fabric won't catch nettles and loose fit leg makes it challenging for insects to sting and bite.
They should be breathable to keep you cool and most are convertible to shorts with zippers to remove the lower part of the leg.
