I asked him how in the world would changing your chain make a wire come loose in the handlebars. He said he has heard of stranger things.
I recently finished a new frame up build. '22 Tarmac SL7 with 11 speed Di2. Got it all finished and running it through the gears on the stand...sigh, nothing from the rear der. Front working fine. OK start from the beginning...check the connection at the rear shifter...sure enough it wasn't connected. Apparently I did not push it in far enough for the "click" that indicates proper connection. Push the connector in properly and she is "alive".
First test ride went great. Just a couple of minor trim adjustments.
Generally it's always something simple...rule of thumb, "don't panic", start from the beginning and check everything first.
Glad it was a simple and inexpensive fix.
