This may be my old bike. Peugeot recalled these Pechiny-process bikes after a few of the frames suffered separation of the bonding at the lugs. I joined the company at about that time and was in the NJ warehouse near a pile of the recalled bikes. I asked what I could do to get one of them and was told, "Promise me you'll
never ride it." Found one in my size and dragged it home and did not ride it after I got it up and running. Later traded it to a guy in the Tidewater area. Mine was missing a letter or two from the seat tube stickers (Park stand, of course) and I recall putting a Peugeot bottle on it. I probably have a picture of mine somewhere.
