Bikes: Nukeproof 275 Pro

Aegis Victory worth the price?

Hi everyone. This is my first ever post and so I apologize for any formatting errors. I used the search function and did not find much about Aegis.

I am looking to by my first road bike. I will not be racing, so something that will bring me fun while riding around the Adirondacks. As with running I love the pain of hills, so it should be awful and fun when I finally get on two road wheels.

To the issue at hand.
I found a gentleman on Marketplace who is selling a bunch of bikes. Klein, Orbea, Felt, and a Aegis. I road them all and the Aegis agrees with me the most. Bike felt great.

I don't know much about bikes but the groups that I recall are
Shifters/brakes: ultegra 6700
Derailer: dura ace 7800
Wheels: vueleta corsa pro aluminum
crank: FSA SLA pro (not sure of year but older)

I cannot off the top of my head remember much more.

The bike fit well, road nice, and the parts actually looked brand new. Not a scratch on them, except the crankset. The carbon was scratched up.

Forum will not allow me to post a pic, but the color is what I would call creamsicle. I wish I knew the year, but I do not. All I know is it was made 2010 or before because it has external cables and has the Crafted in Maine sticker.

Frame doesn't have a scratch.

Seller wants $1000 which I feel is too high but cannot be sure. I will try to respond with a pic if allowed.

Any advice or info us appreciated.
