So that's what my thrift-store queen from a few years back looked like before it was jacked into a geezer-glider and thrashed to within an inch of its life. Nice to confirm that it's mostly original (alas, the Concept 2 stem was broken). Now I'm inspired to ride it again.

Ironically, the glamor photo doesn't really betray the awesome red-orange fade. The author thinks it looks mostly orange, but the pic makes it look all red. In reality, the fade is quite discernable, and combined with the quirky frame elements, make for a conversation-starter.

I had a pair of those Dr.Dew gizmos on a touring hybrid (another Univega, coincidentally) I bought 20-ish years ago. Broke one, alas, have never seen any since. Who knew they were from Joe Murray.
