That was River Legacy Park that is adjacent to the Veridian neighborhood.
A lot of cyclists us the RLP trail because the popular section (east) runs 5 miles to a turnaround, and there really isn't any intersectional traffic, only two access points, and not much pedestrian traffic. You can do pretty fast 10 mile loops. It gets a lot of tri folks working out because it is fast for the most part. It's also heavily shaded which is worth its weight in gold in the summer. Have to watch for stray kitty cats though.
The west section is not so good due to families and such due to it being closer to the playgrounds.
