I am generally happy with Busch & Müller. The Luxos U 70/90 lux is very good. If I was going to replace the stock supernova on the Birdy, I might go for the IQ-XS 70/80 lux.

B&M have excellent optics design which is why SON Edelux II uses their reflector design. But reviews of B&M lights are mixed, some take water. Edelux II while not cheap is bullet proof and can last forever. Best quality components I’ve ever bought for my Brompton were Edelux II, Son front hub and rear light. Costs an arm and a leg but you pay only once. As far as I remember Edelux II was released 8 years ago or more and they are not in a rush to change anything. Yet their lights are still very popular.
