BTW, the thing I like the least about riding in the rain lately is that I feel like I should use my all-weather cross bike for it (with fenders & mudflaps & stuff). So the fixie tends to stay home on those days. I *much* prefer riding the fixie, but don't want to crap it up with fenders, so I save it for nicer weather.
