If you are talking about the Raleigh USA steel bikes, yes, the reversed hierarchy was strange. Reynolds 531 for the Grand Prix, "Raleigh 555" tubing for the Supercourse, where the earlier Grand Prix had had 2030 steel and the Supercourse had had 531 main tubes.
No, I meant Techium Supercourse and Technium Grand Prix. The bicycle in post #185 owned by [MENTION=43632]top506[/MENTION] is a Technium Supercourse. Also, the Supecourse was still higher than above the Grand Prix on those mid 1980s, brazed steel, Raleigh USA models. I'm not sure exactly when the hierachy changed but it was sometime during 1987-1990.
