Ancient, mummified, dust encrusted thread, but neverthless I'll give the foil tape a try! I have the exact same 0.2mm difference situation right now. Unless of course I can locate a small amount of some stainless
shim stock first. I've used some paper thin brass stock on cantilever brake bosses before to take out slop with success.
