It's been known for decades now that Lactic acid is not the cause of muscle burn, actually it seems like lactic acid isn't produced by the body, but if it is it's short-lived; rather what is produced is lactate. But you ignore the effects of lactate accumulation. Lactate may be a good fuel source, but tell me, what causes too much to build up and what happens because of it?
