My Euro race experience is limited to Scotand, Belgium, and the Netherlands, but I've done some riding in Italy, which was pretty amazing. Last year i did the Maratona dles Dolomites, which is a Gran Fondo. Over 8K cyclists on 150 kms of closed roads. Not bad.
