I'm actually not. Why? Because this very model (and it appears model year) was my first serious road bike and I did the exact same thing with mine. Slow-ish rear-ender into the back of a Chrysler Imperial. The frame appeared to suffer no damage, so I simply replaced the original with one of those Tange "one-size-fits-all" chrome forks. The bike lived on it that guise until it was stolen about 4 years later.

Funny thing, my frame was nearly the same size as this one, too. A couple crappy pics of photos follow.
