My last ride (87 miles), I had a bowl of steel cut oats before leaving home, a granola bar ~25 miles in and a pack of Hostess Cupcakes at a gas station at about 50 miles.
Of course, the last ~25 miles were powered by crash-fueled adrenaline, but pay no attention to that part.
I just wish there was consistency to my bodies needs. Sometimes I need food at mile 30 other times I won’t eat til mile 75.
Today I ate at mile 40 and still crashed and burned at mile 71. Came out of no where.
