Not sure what about any negatives concerning the Quad Loc case.
I'm a seven year user over three iPhone generations. The case never catches on anything going in our out of my pocket.
With carriers on three bikes, I freely mount between them.
Very sturdy case with no vibration. I think my case and mount cost about $60 total a couple years ago.
