Don't want to hijack OP's thread but I need some advice too.
The bike in question : Giant Revolt with Conduct hydraulic brake system. The brakes are Tektro. Bike was bought used a month ago and have put about 300 miles~. Not sure how many miles previous owner put but overall seems to be in great condition except front brake.

The problem : pretty weak bite on the front brake, lever makes a funny, rubbery sound. The shifter needs to be pulled way back before it does braking of any sort. I have bled the system at least 5 times but no dice. Squishy, rubbery lever and no bite. Also changed the pads to brand new ones - still nothing (or really, really minor improvement), the old pads are pretty good when compared to brand new ones, thus explaining why putting in new pads did not make a difference.

Is the bleeding not proper? Is it still holding air somewhere and anything else I can try at home before taking it to LBS?
