Use a flat screwdriver under the grip and pry it up a bit from the shifter side, then pour some water in. Work the screwdriver around and twist the grip until it's loose and slide it off. To install, use some hairspray on the inside of the grip and it should slide on and stay put. I would say to use ODI as well, but if it's for a woman, most ODI grips are too large in diameter and their hands can cramp up
