I've got 50/34, 52/36, and 53/39 cranks. I really prefer the latter two over the first. Shifting's better, and the gear range requires less FD shifting. With 50/34 I keep finding my self in Biggie Bigs and Smallie Smalls at normal human speeds.
My mechanic is pretty confident he can rig it to work. Said he did something similar before.
They also have the full R7000 group with 175mm arms. Only asking 20.00 more than merlin.
