LOL, obviously I'm more of a shoot from the hip kind of guy. DT friction shifters, capability to cover an 8 speed Shimano/SRAM cassette and sticking with the double crank on there. I'd like to be able to cover a 28t large cog but I know from experience that most RD's cover more than stated but it comes down to each bike. Want to stick with Superbe level items. I'm a Superbe snob.

In my mind if anyone's holding it's up to me to figure out if it meets my needs.
