I just replaced my road shoes after far too many years today, and tried on both S Works 7's and S Works Ares shoes. For my feet, the 7's heel cup felt a little stiff/uncomfortable. Enough so I went with the Ares instead, which while more of a pain to get on, seemed noticeably more comfy overall (again, obviously subjective). I've got exactly one ride in on the new shoes, but they seem pretty great so far. I did the specialized inserts as well, since I had e-soles semi-orthotics in my old shoes.
