Use the left hand Gripshifter. They offer it as a friction shifter, has 12 or detents. That seems like a good fit for a cvt
Thanks for the input! The main issue I'm dealing with is the CVT exerts a variable force on the cable based on how hard the rider is pedalling. This creates somewhat of a problem when dealing with an ordinary (commercially available) shifter due to it's tendency to displace during intense pedalling. Also, the detents tend to inhibit the "infinite" adjustability of the transmission. I appreciate the advice though.
