No. If you said, "OLH is a 3 mile climb," I'd assume that it's a climb over the course of 3 miles, but if you were to say, "OLH is 3 miles of climbing," I would assume that you don't know what you're talking about because there aren't any ascents that yuge.
And this is the other point that
genejockey is missing: the poster has cited his riding stats as a fallacious appeal to authority in a couple threads...And he doesn't even know how cyclists measure climbing. That needs to be called out, and I don't give a **** if gene thinks I'm humorless. I mean, it's not like I throw a rant when people treat the word 'data' as a singular, or something else that doesn't actually impede communication.
