5 ft wide sounds like it is for bike paths that are restricted. there are very few around where i ride. today my ride will be 40 miles and the only place i can think of with any width restriction lasts for all of 10ish feet.
didn't know there were any other reno riders here, i'd say welcome to the club but you've been here for a year now.
