what does any street sweeper do with the dirt and stuff. i would hope that it would be filtered to pull out useful metals and gravel that can be used for other purposes like traction during the winter. likely just used for fill then covered up with playgrounds and schools.
it goes to the dump. Not cost effective to sift and filter.
Or they could make snow globes out of the glass.
