Since orphan wheel sets are allowed, I think I have the ultimate weirdo pair.
Not exactly vintage to folks like us, but certainly are to the crowd who ride stuff like this.

HED "Jet" 650 C deep V rims (clincher) with CF combined with Aluminum braking surfaces. needs a very long stem tube.
They have 24 bladed spokes with sealed bearing Rear hub, 18 bladed spokes in Front hub.

NOTE: the rear hub has conventional spoke orientation on the DS of that hub with J-bend heads on the hub flange and nipples (inside) the rim, but the NDS, and both sides of front hub, have heads of the spokes inside the rim but nipples in the hub body!

NOTE 2: front hub has a cracked shell so should be replaced! see pic.

These have decent Conti Grand Prix 3000 tires (650C x 23) that still have some life left, tubes that take air (but waiting to see if they hold air over time).
I plan to keep the skewers, the clean 8-spd Shimano cassette is included.
