I have a 1980's era Scott MTB that I consider neither classic nor vintage. It's awesome on mountain trails though.
I have a 2002 Eddy Merckx Team SC, Easton Scandium tubing, handmade in the original Belgium factory, when Eddy was still in charge day to day and before he sold to a holding company. I consider it classic, I think most people would, but not vintage. To me, vintage features a lot of technology that's been obsoleted. Like I would consider a 1967 Camaro classic but not vintage. I would consider a 1976 Triumph TR-6 to be vintage but possibly not classic.
