Coming from an older 26er and being a wuss on technical stuff it took a while to trust the bike and the tires. It's so much better than any mtb I've had before. I'm reluctant to give up that confidence but I'm not doing much technical stuff lately.

I do some solo rides now where it's a mix of dirt and pavement. The bikes works for that but so would a lightweight gravel bike or hardtail. Maybe I can figure out the solution after I pay for my latest dental expenses. The whole not having a job thing makes a tightwad like me more nervous.
