...our bike co-op here, the Sac Bike Kitchen, is right off the Business 80 and also a few blocks from Hwy 50. Both are major routes to Nevada and Burning Man, from the Bay Area, where many people fly in, then rent either a car or a motorhome, to attend the festival. So we used to get a lot of people stopping off, to get their Burning Man bikes. I became quite adept at quickly repairing whatever was busted on some clapped out Walmart bike, to make it just usable enough to spend its last bit of useful product life, out on the playa.
I looked forward to the festival every year, as a way to get those bikes to go far away from me.

I don't know how many of them ended up with fake fur glued to the frame. More than a few, I think.
