What year is this Peugeot Super Vitus 980 bike?

Another ebay acquisition is this Peugeot made with Super Vitus 980 double butted tubing. It has an Shimano Altus LT rear derailleur, Shimano 200GS front derailleur, Weinmann 605 brake calipers, a drilled Stronglight crank, CTA La Bonneville Iton handlebars, a 700c Mavic MA2 rear rim mounted on a Maillard Helicomatic rear hub and freewheel, a 700c Rigida AL1320 front rim and Christophe toe clip pedals.

When I took this out of the shipping box I was slightly surprised that it wasn't a heavy beast. I expected since it was a steel frame that it was going to be pretty heavy but I am pleasantly surprised to find that it actually is not that bad.

There are some numbers on a sticker on the lower edge of the bottom bracket shell. They are PSV10S60 and 2024960

Anyone care to make a guess as to the age of this thing?
