Hey there. I run Sram Rival 22 groupset on my bike for like a year but always hated Sram's calipers spongy performance. Now I'm proposed with brand new Ultegra R8000 rim calipers under a sweet price. So the question is will this combo develop a proper friendship?

I've read a bunch of topics all over and they are 50/50. Some claim it's a perfect combo by means of stopping power some go against noting the differences in pull ratio. Is it so crucial to consider before bying? Does anybody run Sram shifters with Shimano rim calipers here? Any advice is appreciated!
