Yeah, I'm a huge proponent of public transit, yet the TTC and everyone on it totally enrages me. But, I also probably have the TTC to partly thank for me "rediscovering cycling".

I don't think the Spring bike show is as much about the crazy deals as it is about people buying new complete bikes. The Fall bike show is more of a "blowout sale", although even that is pretty lame unless you're looking for clothes or minor accessories (racks/fenders/computers/etc).

If the weather holds up for Saturday, I vote we all get together for some lunch and beers some place in the afternoon.

ps. all the painkiller talk makes me feel like I missed something good by avoiding them when I hurt myself during the holidays.
