thanks rad, good call, that is probably what is causing the problems and it fits in that the original ascents before easton took over could not be fit with a campy freewheel because of dish problems..only a 8-9 speed with conversion cassttes from wheels manufacturing...the problem was supposed to be fixed with easton redesigning the wheels
