"The wheels are 105 5700 hubs laced to 700c Sun CR-18s with DT Swiss champion spokes. I had the Champions in stock and couldn't afford to get butted spokes, though I wish I could. I figure when it's time for that I will go all out and build a set out of something shiny and tubeless compatible if possible, with hubs made in USA. For tires I went with 35c Panaracer Paselas in a folding bead. Even though they allegedly are a similar diameter to a 27x1 1/4, They are the largest size that fit the fenders. This added a lot of time and profanity to the fender install. Next time I will likely do 32c just to retain what sanity I have left.
