I had both knees replaced in 2017 - one in January and one in November so I rehabed over two winters. The first was tough to bend and took 3 weeks to pedal a stationary bike. The second bent easily and I was on a stationary bike in a week, but fully straightening that knee took 16 weeks. I've ridden over 22,000 miles in the Colorado mountains since then.
