Air suspensions need to be adjusted according to the weight and riding habits of the rider. You mentioned having set if up per the RD website, so I assumed you covered that.

If not, the process is trial and error to set the resting height so the travel stays within the range. Low pressure causes the fork to bottom out, high pressure pins the fork to the top if it's range.

The usual method is to use a pipe cleaner or cable tie on the strut so it acts as a marker of the maximum travel. Then the pressure is adjusted so after rides it ends up shy of the top.
