Also, it would be helpful to know precisely what you mean when you say the 10-speed cassette would fit on one freehub, but would not fit on another. Was it too loose, or was it too long? If the former, you may simply need a 1mm spacer behind the 10-speed cassette.
the cassette was too long. the mechanic couldn't get the tightening ring on. i'm thinking the cassette i wanted to put on is the hg 5600, 11-25 teeth. are the mountain bike cassettes of a different depth, same 10 speed? thanks
