Park your bike with the valve stem up every time. Eventually the sealant become a counterbalance for the valve stem at the opposite side.
I have been using Silca Sealant for about 4 months now. Reasonably priced when on sale. I used the replenisher once; easy. No flats that I know of. I read about disintegrating tape; no problems so far. I haven't pulled the tire to check for clumping "footballs". I'll let you know when I do.
