I’m not sure how the sand got inside the frame but it’s out now. The worst part of the new BB install was working the fine sand out of the threads. I can’t find my 3/8” torque wrench since the move and the 1/4” does not allow for the 35-40 NM needed to torque the bearings. I messaged a friend to see if I can borrow his but I’m about ready to go buy a new one and be done.
