Rare Joe Waugh Reynolds 531c frame from the UK. The c stands for Competition and the tubes are thinner than the regular 531 tubes. It is, therefore, lighter and rides really nicely. Joe Waugh made his name racing in the 70s and early 80s riding at the 1980 Olympics and winning gold at the 1982 Commonwealth Games. In 1981 he got involved in building bikes with legendary frame builder Dave Yates. The bike is mostly Suntour Superbe Pro components (Crankset, Front Derailleur, Brakes). The rear derailleur is Dura Ace as are the Seat Post, headset, and wheel skewers. The stem and bar and brake levers are Modolo. The wheelset has Mavic MA 40 Rims. The front is newer with a Shimano 600 hub. The rear is older with a Miche hub. The saddle is a Concor Supercorsa. The bike has some chips which are not surprising for its age but the pearlescent white paint job is really cool. A very nice vintage bike that is a joy to ride. Will come with period-correct pedals rather than the ones in the picture.
