I ride the "flip up" profile aero bars and rather like them. I live in very hilly country and need the tops for climbing. They did rattle a little, on the chip and seal roads( if you dont live in the sticks you may not know what those are). I took a little mole skin and cut little pieces to put inside the brackets, where they contact. It took the noise away considerably. The older style did have pins that worked there way out, causing the arms to fall off( yes I did have to utilize a rear pocket of the old cycle jersey on one particular ride) an email to profile, got me two new bracket tops and I was stylin again.
