Tundra_Man I can certainly sympathize about the winters in the Dakotas. I can't imagine riding much up there this time of year. I saw -67 F with the wind chill, when I worked in the Bakken up in ND. Anything below 20 F with wind just makes riding pretty miserable in my opinion. I've never ridden with studded tires or tried a fat bike, but I'm sure that would be ok if the wind wasn't crazy.
