I don’t think it’s an 1980 International. Could be an International of an earlier year or a different model. My parents bought me a Nishiki international in 1980, when I was a teenager. It had “Nishiki” stamped on the upper ends of the seat stays Sun Tour frame shifters, Sugino Super Maxy cranks that looked like yours, but the crank arms were stamped “Super Maxy.” Derailleurs front and rear were Sun Tour Cyclone.
