I briefly entertained the possibility of going to Eroica CA at one point. I have an appropriate bike. However, the expense of the outfit for the Cosplay aspect of the event was prohibitive. People want a lot of $$$$ for those vintage jerseys and shoes.
I always get a chuckle out of the photos depicting the cosplay, with a bunch of riders at rest stops using smart phones.
