We have a chamberlain door opener so it would be cheaper to hook it back up to the internet. Wonder if I could convince the google assistant to open/close it for me
I took it off of the internet because I wasn't convinced the internet gateway couldn't be hacked. I was worried about something like the camera hack, where they used the cameras for denial of service attacks. I feel like the possibility that someone would break in using the internet is somewhat remote.

Google assistant gets snooty when you curse at it. I decided that's because they have people listening to you more often than they will admit.
